Message Systems Announces Message Central

Enhanced message origination system offers choice and control in a single, integrated solution.

October 11, 2010

COLUMBIA, MARYLAND - Message Systems, the premier provider of fast, flexible and holistic message management solutions, announced today an enhanced version of Message Central. This new release offers enterprises a single, integrated solution for creating, deploying and managing email communications that adapts to their unique operating environment. With Message Central, companies can consolidate their disparate, often disjointed and siloed, in-house systems to save money and better coordinate their email communications to deliver more brand-consistent and relevant messages that increase response and enhance the customer experience.

Built from the ground up to support the full range of today’s business-critical email programs, Message Central is designed to meet the high-volume, complex messaging needs of large enterprises. Through a single, integrated solution, Message Central enables companies to deploy multiple types of email messages - marketing email, e-commerce notices and transactional messages and alerts - and coordinate the delivery of these messages across the enterprise, no matter what data sources or business units the messages originated from within the company. As a result, customer data can be shared across the enterprise to produce more engaging and effective customer communications.

Message Central offers a simplified, easy-to-use interface, and the flexibility of three modes - Database-Centric, Direct Access or Web Services - so companies can set-up, deploy and manage mailings in the ways that makes sense for their operations. Companies can choose to operate in one mode or all three. Database-Centric mode allows them to define their lists and segments, run counts, and then develop, deploy and manage their mailings using Message Central as their database of record. In Direct Access mode, users can control the look and feel of the content of mailings while leveraging their existing CRM or other systems. With Web Services mode, Message Central becomes a high performance API-based email origination system enabling users to integrate any number of upstream systems to control any or all parts of the messaging process. Message Central is powered by Momentum, Message Systems’ next generation message management platform, and has multi-generator capability for maximum performance and deliverability results.

Unlike other solutions in the marketplace, Message Central has been specifically designed to adapt to differing business needs and ways of operating. It can be deployed as a full-featured message origination system, the starting point for custom development, or a private-label solution that service providers can offer to their clients.

“Companies can’t hope to succeed by sacrificing their customer experiences and business priorities to email’s undisciplined use or the inadequacies of its infrastructure. Nor should they be required to scale their messaging ambitions to the constraints of internal systems or modify their business processes to suit vendor solutions,” said Dave Lewis, CMO of Message Systems. “Message Central delivers the email communication choices enterprises need, and with that choice comes control and unlimited possibilities.”
