When is Interact 2012?

Interact 2011 will be August 21 – 24, 2012. Tuesday, August 21 will feature a pre-conference welcome reception. The formal session content will begin on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.

Where is Interact 2012 being held?

Interact 2012 will be held at Paradise Point Resort & Spa, located on an island in San Diego's Mission Bay.

Who should attend Interact 2012?

We encourage current and prospective customers and users of Message Systems solutions, partners, messaging-industry executives. You should join us if you:

  • Are responsible for ensuring customer experience and engagement are optimized for greater lifetime value
  • Want to make better use of data assets, intelligence sharing and synchronization of opoerations to achieve greater efficiency and cost savings
  • Keep your company’s email, SMS/MMS text and social messaging systems and processes running smoothly

Can I bring my spouse/partner/children?

Unregistered guests may not attend any Interact 2012 sessions, breakfasts or lunches. However, if you choose to bring a spouse or partner to any of the evening gatherings (welcome reception or dinners out) you may do so by paying an additional fee. Children are not allowed at any Interact 2012 functions. For more information email interact2012@messagesystems.com.

How much does it cost to attend the event?

The conference, featuring 3 tracks and 30+ sessions is regularly priced at $750. However, if you register now you can take advantage of our early-bird pricing and register for the complete event package for only $500.

How can I convince my boss it's valuable to attend?

Download our Conference Approval Kit. In it you will find an event overview document with all the event details. Also included is a proposal letter which you can customize to your specific requirements.

What does the Interact 2012 fee include?

  • Admission to all general and breakout sessions
  • All conference materials
  • Welcome reception on Tuesday, August 21, 2012
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23, 2012, and breakfast Friday, August 24, 2012

Is there a dress code?

You'll be in a tropical resort and in sunny southern California. Generally, "Resort Casual" dress will be comfortable for most attendees.

When will I receive confirmation of my registration?

You will receive a confirmation email when your registration is processed and we have received payment of your registration fee. Hotel confirmation will be received directly from the hotel when you have booked your room.

Will I get an invoice so I can expense this in to my company?

The confirmation email you receive on approval of your registration will serve as your receipt. It contains a summary of fees paid.

What is the cancellation and substitution policy?

Unfortunately we cannot process cancellations. However if you cannot attend Interact 2012, you are welcome to send someone in your place. If you need to do this, please send an email to interact2012@messagesystems.com with the details of the person that will be attending for you. If you are not sending a replacement, it is still important to contact Paradise Point Resort & Spa to cancel your reservation if you booked a room.

How do I get there?

Paradise Point Resort & Spa is located 15 minutes from the San Diego International Airport, with taxi fares totaling approximately $20-$30.

How do I book my hotel reservations?

When you register for the conference, you'll receive a link where you can book your room at Paradise Point Resort & Spa at the rate of $225/night. In order to get this special rate, you must log in to the Paradise Point Interact 2012 hotel registration page or call 800.344.2626 and identify yourself as an Interact 2012 attendee.

How much are rooms?

Lodging is not included in your registration fee, however we have arranged special reduced pricing for registered attendees. To ensure that you get this preferred rate, please make your hotel reservations through the Paradise Point Interact 2012 hotel registration page or call 800.344.2626 and identify yourself as an Interact 2011 attendee. All attendees will receive Lanai Garden rooms at a rate of $225/night when booked before July 22, 2012. Any reservations made after July 22, 2012 will be accepted by the resort on a space-available basis, at the rate available at that time. Rooms may be available before August 21, 2012 or after August 24, 2012 at the regular hotel rate, based on availability. To book additional nights outside of our reserved room block, please contact the hotel reservations at 800.344.2626 or go to the hotel's main reservation page.
