Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Increase revenue by generating and developing leads via proactively contacting target prospects over the phone.
  • Build rapport with key contacts through a consultative sales approach.
  • Present and articulate product features and benefits and obtain commitment to evaluate Message Systems solutions further.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of our software solutions, competitors and industry trends.
  • Limited travel to trade shows and conventions.
  • Work closely with the outside sales team.

Required Sales and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Operational knowledge of CMS systems and web conferencing tools.
  • Social media [Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, etc] aware and proficient use of this media to generate leads.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in conjunction with the outside sales team.
  • Strong verbal communication, listening, and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Success-driven with a strong work ethic.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 -5 years sales experience. May consider candidates with 3 years of experience with a proven track record.
  • 4 Year Degree (Bachelors or equivalent).
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work full-time from our corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD.
  • Software sales experience a plus.
